Huntland is located in the south west part of Franklin County in middle
Tennessee, with a population of 916 people. Huntland is named after
Clinton Armstrong Hunt, who founded the town incorporated in 1907. It
is governed by a private act charter established in 1913. Huntland is
governed by a mayor and five alderman, which meets every third
Monday night of every month. Huntland School is Pre-K through 12
grade. The City of Huntland has multiple daycares, denist, hardware
store as well several other local businesses.
